blue & grey

just up the road from the office - this is what it looked like back in may, with leaves and sunlight. back from dublin and it's all grey here, and tho work was ok and i had a good chat with a friend i've not spoken to in months who made me laugh like a drain (thanks, J), i'm kinda grey and blue too.

still heard nothing from himself and i'm worried now - he's not the kind of guy to take time off sick, so that he has tells me that things are pretty bad. i just want to hear it (and, ok, i want to fix it, but realise that's not necessarily going to happen), but it seems i'm not that friend anymore, and that really hurts.

oh, i'm surviving, and as dolcezza has said, i deserve better, but still...
