A stunning autumn day

Great day - we started at Ashness landing stage, ended up at Watendlath, calm water for most of the day and good weather throughout - this autumn is certainly a good one, though the rain is set to move in soon! 

Of course with the sunshine, comes high contrast conditions, and my grad filters get so much use.   This needed a 0.75 grad across the sky to prevent losing detail in the clouds, but I also had a 0.6 soft edge grad wedged in the bellows hood sideways to balance the lightright / dark left nature of the shot. As a result, very little additional editing was needed in PhotoShop to get the result here.
