Capturing my Journey

The dogs chewing on some sticks whilst husband and I do some fencing. Still trying to fence off our training field and its still not finished, this section has been particularly awkward. We have had to move the old line and since the rylock is in good condition we are taking it off the old posts and most challengingly pulling it out the ground and extracting it from bushes that have grown through it. Hard work on the back so after a few hours we both had to call it a day with the fencing before we were complete cripples.

In the afternoon I have been busy sorting out all the sheep paperwork that needed to be caught up on. Everything much more up to date. We did some scentwork searches for Dris in the big shed and he loved it. He is getting very good at it!

11c 5 SE heavy rain overnight, the odd shower in the morning and sunshine inbetween.

Tragedy has struck the Island again with a fatal road accident last night of our 29 year old vet. I used to go to pony club with her, she had just taken over the island vet practice last year and was such a lovely person and so passionate about animals. A reminder of how short life is especially with her being younger than me. A good time to be thankful for what we have.
