End of an era
The livery yard where Linda and I kept our horses for the best part of 14 years is no more. The lady who ran it for 22 years was effectively forced to give it up when the landlord (a large local estate) made it clear the rent was going up significantly and to an uneconomic level.
When Linda first moved her horse there, it was primarily a hunting yard but over the years became mainly used by leisure riders.
In the blip are 5 of the larger boxes (aka stables) out of a total of 25+ which at times were all occupied with other horses in larger open pens.
The extra is an old photo from 2010 of Bronte (the horse Linda still has) and my horse Max who I have subsequently sold in their boxes which are the two furthest away in the main blip.
