Time Travellers 2016. The Bakers

This is the back of the last bakery in our village. The baker retired in 1981. There had been many earlier bakers in the village across the decades. The house is now a private home but we will tell the story of the village bakery in our promenade production in July 2016.

I am glad to see that two stalls in Cambridge market and an artsan bakery in one of our neighbouring villages are selling my favourite bread, sourdough. For me the best sourdough is to be eaten inthe West coast of USA or in Eastern Europe... Yum!!!
