A Last Ditch Attempt

Apart from a slight red glimmer on the horizon at sunrise, today has been a dull, overcast day with plenty of drizzle ... So it was nice to see the sun eventually make an appearance about 45 minutes before sunset ... :o)

Despite, however, making a mad dash to the west coast of Guernsey to try and capture the sun setting, I still managed to miss it as it disappeared behind a cloud bank on the horizon ... In the end I decided to improvise a little bit ... (although maybe a little bit too much) ... :o|

So anyway, this is a slightly way over processed impression of the sunset this evening ... (and not an actual painting) ... :o)
