A load of bull....

Another rodeo day. Brought in the 8 stock bulls from the field to put out to the various batches of cows. It is always a dodgy job,as once they are in close quarters with each other they can explode into a fight, and if you are in the way, a  ton each  of fighting bulls aren't going to worry too much !
Managed to get them all out without mishap ,but now the same worry as every year, will they all work OK. If they don't,that puts the whole calving pattern next year all to pot !
It is a long term gamble too,as it is nearly 2 1/2 years from conception to (hopefully) having a finished beast to sell.
Nipped down to the monthly village soup lunch, and can highly recommend the mushroom soup !
The final job this afternoon was to put the Angus bull in with the heifers. He seemed pleased !
These are 3 of the Limousins.
