Hospital stay 3
I made the mistake of writing much of today's chat up with the last photo.
But in others news today I had my heart trace done. Due to my notes being temporarily mislaid I was giving the report to carry back. The heavily cigarette scented technician laughed when he saw me reading it, and said "That won't mean anything to you!" But the text part I understood just fine, and everything is as it should be!
Of all the tests I've had it's the only one I know the results of, and that's unofficial. I would like my foot/ankle x-ray to show a problem, as it has hurt for a while and it would be good to know why and get it sorted.
Tonight a probably senile old duffer was lecturing the ward staff for their relaxed and light hearted manner around the ward. He told the Sister that he'd been in charge of 100's of people, and found her manner unprofessional. It seemed he wanted a return to the old days when the wards were run like military units. She was very patient, listening to his concerns and reassuring him.
They may be relaxed, but they snap into action when it's called for!
As you can see, Brian bought me some pick n mix when he fetched Minstrel a new litter tray. And I got a Get Well card from my parents too - with cash in it!
