New friends

A hectic day... me and little un were taking part in a special playgroup aimed at building attachment with newly adopted children... It was all a bit stressful trying to get up and out of the house and right around to the other side of the city through the rush hour traffic... we were then introduced to  to a bunch of new people before all playing some theraplay style games... It  was a whole bunch of new experiences and challenges,  so I wouldn't say it was bad,  but it didn't feel relaxing either...I think we need to give it more of a go, maybe as the weeks progress and it becomes less strange then we'll get a bit more out of it... Plus the other people in the group seem very nice, so we may make some new friends...

Then later on this afternoon we popped around to the crumblies... but they weren't in... however mr Monkey was waiting for us with a note stating that he was just hanging around waiting for Little un... later on when they did arrive home, they were also accompanied by a Dragon hand puppet... it seems that Dad had got quite enthusiastic during a trip to Ikea and had decided to bring back some new friends for little un... she was very happy with them...
