Sparkles

For a change Geoff bought something on ebay.

He paid £9.50 for a small jewellery box which contained this and four other brooches.
I am not a 'faffy' person but today I went outside my comfort zone and not only wore the brooch on my dress today but a scarf as well!!
Just back from seeing Bond which was brilliant.
In work news, strange day, well probably normal nowadays, closing day for applications for the March course so lots of strange/silly emails to be dealt with, writing an email to a group of instructors reminding them to send their papers/slides for their manual tomorrow, then copied in to an email saying that they had removed me from the mailing list and to ignore my email and here are their deadlines from the lead instructor.  Silly person took our my personal email but not our group one, so not only did I read it I replied as well :-)
Then lunch wasn't served at 12:00 as requested as they had it on their records as 13:00.  It arrived by 12:30 giving everyone 30 minutes to eat before a seminar.  We won't have to pay for it but that isn't the point.
Then the current instructors are having problems with a high achiever that skipped out of a wet lab session this morning for over an hour and then left this afternoons session as he knows it all.  The courses are small so it is very noticeable when someone behaves like this.  As I am the only manager in I wrote to him reminding him of our terms and conditions and said I looked forward to seeing him at all the remaining sessions.
