Sun, Sea & Sand

We were very pleasantly surprised to find warm sunshine in Weymouth :)

There were children making sandcastles and plenty people wandering about in t-shirts as well as a few who were making good use of their beach huts.

One shorts and t-shirt clad lady was sitting by her beach hut, basking in the sun and knitting poppies.

Never before have I seen a poppy seller dressed in beach wear at the end of October!

We enjoyed a trip to Portland Bill where we ate yummy chips (they always taste better when eaten al fresco by the sea) and got great views looking down at the huge expanse of Chesil beach.
