Abstract Thursday: Jack-O-Lantern

I'm excited that, for the first time, I didn't use Photoshop to create my abstract image. I took my carved pumpkin into a dark room and lit it with a candle (see extra).  Then I took several long exposures of it while moving my camera in different patterns.  I got a lot good shots but this was my favorite.  Thanks to youoregon1 for spending so much time to keep this wonderful challenge alive!

I did use Photoshop to remove the visible glowing candle from the image and to add a pink border and pink ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Here is a link to the Breast Cancer Site that will provide a free mammogram to women in need for every click on the pink bar.  Please take a minute for a great cause!
