Gadwell Duck
Hubby and I took a ride into the country side North of our house; it was a beautiful partly sunny day. The fall colors were beautiful, especially the vineyards were a bright yellow. I took lots of photos, but I kept coming back to this duck on the lake near our house. There were Mallards, American Wigeon, Grebes, Coots and this Gadwell swimming on Bethany Lake. A Cormorant flew over, but no sign of the resident Bald Eagles. I know they are around because we talked to people who had seen them today. (Extras: Mallards)
Tonight is a quiet evening; hubby is snoring in his recliner and I am in my recliner sorting all the photos I took today and NOW posting this one.
Thanks for the great response to my simple yellow rose bud yesterday and for the Dowitches' stars and hearts that keeps them on the popular pages.
Thanks for dropping in again today.
