Cornwall Day 1

A pretty lazy morning to get over our week at work and the journey down last night. We eventually dragged ourselves up for a trip out to St Mawes. 

We walked all the way around the harbour and up as far as the castle, then back again. G found a cafe with wifi so he could do a tiny bit of work (on the promise that no more work would be done all week), so I sat and drank coffee and watched the sea out of the window. After a while we were joined by Moira and Jim for lunch. 

Before heading home we had a little walk along the beach and looked in rockpools and ogled urchins. I fell over (of course): bumped my knee and scraped my hand - classic injuries of a five twenty-five year old. 


Back at the house, Graham taught us the Bean Game, which we all got very in to. For dinner we walked down to the Plume of Feathers (yummy but rather slow service). A very full walk back up the hill, another round of Beans, then bed.
