Nice gift!

Last night #2 daughter gave us this, in lieu of (baby- sitting) services rendered. She had been in Edinburgh last week, and as part of a team-building exercise, they did a tour and tasting at Edinburgh gin. No perks like this for #3 daughter, who as a teacher is working in her holidays. Fiona was able to tell me all about gin's history - surprisingly well remembered considering the tastings.

We have yet to try this - Canonball, said to be best with a sliver of grapefruit peel. We have friends coming for supper tonight but as they have to drive to get here, I doubt we'll be sampling the gin.
