City Boy

The last real colour in the garden.

The day started well. J went to the supermarket and I thought I'd get myself organised. I thought I'd sort out the link between my iPhone, iPad and laptop. I'll do it the simple way by phoning Apple Support. It's always been great in the past. I decided to start with my contacts. I needed the Internet to do it. However the wifi signal was weak. I restarted the modem and router. It said we had lift off. I contacted Apple Support and they called my back within 2 minutes as they promised. They assured me it was easy. They asked to access the screens I displayed. I agreed. We started. Wifi decided to rest. We tried again and wifi cooperated. Apple Support established the link. Wifi went to sleep. Finally Apple Support guided me through what was needed. Was everything OK? Yes. Oh no! Some of my iPhone contacts had been duplicated. We resolved it. Were they all working now? No, the iPad contacts had duplicated. Finally all was well and I was wished a good weekend. Just after lunch I picked up my iPad. Now I have four versions of some contacts. I'll rest over the weekend and maybe go to the Genius Bar in the Princes Street store.

On the good side, we have a lovely huge old hydrangea and the blooms last and last. I like the fact that it is multi-coloured. Maybe I should take a bunch to the Apple Store.
