Moulting

This is my Bluebel chicken called Foxy (It's a long story) she is moulting at the moment. Some chickens moult slowly and some more spectacularly like Foxy. You can see the new feathers growing in covered in their waxy coating, in a week she will look very different

Just as well it's mild weather!

A busy day with this and that but the main news is that I finished the painting caused by the new walls. The bad news is that because all the bedrooms look like new the hallway now needs done. Some repairs required first though.

A lovely laid back lunch with a friend and she is an excellent cook so it was all yummy. Have a good weekend
