The Farm below Danby Castle

Dropping out of dense fog on  Blakey Ridge over the high Moor we emerged into bright sunshine in Fryup  Dale, and there on the final bend before the descent to the Castleton Road, there was this splendid view looking out East toward the coast.
Hard to believe just a few minutes earlier we were having to drive at a crawl over the high moor with fog lights on, and surprisingly the temperature up there  was a very mild 13C
