Halloween party at the home

I took the boys out for lunch and then to a Halloween party at the home, the staff had gone to a lot of trouble to bake spooky cakes and decorate the main dining room on the ground floor, they had also dressed up and were serving wine and sherry. We sat with my Mum and Norman and got drinks and cakes for them and some cheese and biscuits for Norman who prefers savoury food.
Frank Sinatra's greatest hits played as we chatted, the boys were very helpful offereing chocolates round and getting help for people who needed it.
It was quite a surreal experience mainly because we were the only family members there, a couple of other visitors did come towards the end, one of them had a dog called Ruby which was nice.
This lady was very lively and I loved her hat.
