Palazzio Pubblico, Siena
This is the famous Campo, where the Palio takes place twice a year. It's remarkable for the fan-tail shape of the square.
The two extra photos are also of Siena. Thanks to someone on the holiday, I cannot now look at the Palazzo Pubblico without seeing a smile on its face. I can't help wondering if the architect was having a joke at the expense of his masters.
