A Century of Style

This morning J & I went to the Art Galleries to view the Exhibition - A Century of Style -  Costume & Colour 1800-1899 - well worth the visit. This little dress reminded me of the hours spent upstairs in the sewing room at school trying to complete a sample of smocking (never anything like as good as this example!).
The extra is just part of one of the stunning dresses on show.
