Color me excited!

Had a lovely stroll around an a historic town this afternoon. Wandered into a fiber shop -- sadly it was tailored only for knitters and crocheters -- not for lace-makers. However, in the very back, out of the way corner of the store, I found a very interesting fiber --- it's 69% silk and 31% stainless -- fascinating. I enjoying tatting with silk, so I could not resist getting a cone of this silk stainless. Eager to test out its tat-ability this evening. My blip doesn't do the color justice -- a gorgeous pewter gray with a hint of sparkle here & there.
