Back from the vet

Well I dropped Lilly off at the vet's this morning at 0830 and got the phone call to collect her at 1430. Thankfully with her tail intact, just with a rather bald band across the base. The vet said she hasn't broken anything and after the second "flushing out" this time under general anaesthetic, the tail looks much healthier. She is a different cat this evening, although I have banished her to the bathroom for one more night, she isn't dripping blood like she was last night and is obviously out of pain and just so much happier.
