Worldwide Parkruns

Riding to Coolangatta today and we met some of the participants of the Kirra Foreshore Halloween Parkrun. These runs started in UK and now are in 11 countries . They are free, weekly timed runs open to folk of all abilities and run by volunteers . They are held in parkland areas and currently UK has 364 locations and Australia 144 . So good to see so many out there having fun , some exercise and maybe facing a personal challenge .
