Killiecrankie viaduct

Underneath the viaduct that carries the A9 road along the hillside at Killicrankie. This is a strange place - clean, quiet, dry, and no plants grow here. The pillars give an impression of a modern cathedral.

A footpath climbs the hillside underneath the viaduct. It forms part of a circular walk from Pitlochry, over the bealach beneath Ben Vrackie, and down via Killicrankie (site of a battle and the inspiration for a great song).
