Halloween
All Hallows' Eve also known as Halloween is a celebration observed on the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide or All Saints-tide the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including the saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers. In the United Kingdom, the Church of England, mother church of the Anglican Communion, extended All Saints-tide to include Remembrance Sunday in the 20th century.
