On Golden Canal.....

The gold on the water seems an unusual phenomenon until you realise it's just the reflection of some beautiful Autumn foliage.  I spent a pleasant couple of hours down on the canal this afternoon, but the light was poor and there weren't many birds around.  I saw the Mallard on my way back to the car otherwise I would have had very slim pickings blipwise.  I hope tomorrow will be brighter.
