Tangled Dawn

This is the worst time of year for me to capture sunrises from my backyard. The sun is so far to the northeast over the mountains that it rises behind a huge tree. But it does make for an interesting shot now and then.

Here, some clouds passed right through the center of the otherwise blue sky, as the sun rose.

There was one drip on my windshield yesterday but it was just a tease. I think I'm losing what's left of my mind!
