"Happy Halloween"

When I was young, most people completely ignored Halloween, but you might occasionally get a bit of pumpkin carving or apple bobbing. But now it seems to be a massive thing that people go overboard for. Although I don't get the "Happy Halloween" bit - surely it's a time of ghouls and nasty things, nothing to be happy about?
