Last Fandango with Maris
The last of the lovely Fandango beefsteak tomatoes, withered and ripened off the vine, went into this 'sugo al uovo' for breakfast. If only I had grown some Maris Piper the conceit would have been complete. But blight came early this year and decimated the potatoes.
A glorious day for woodpile building.
Congratulations to the All Blacks for a stupendous performance. You are worthy champions of the world.
Anyone else notice that the egg has taken on the shape of a truncated Cyprus with the yolk as the Troodos Mountains.
