Brightness

There was still just a bit of bright colour left in the garden at the holiday lodge. One remaining yellow flower can be seen in the new herbaceous bed. Apart from this the white and pink cyclamen are the first flowers the visitors will see as they park their car. I have some plants ready for autumn colour but I can't plant them until spring when I can see where the bulbs are.

It is customary to celebrate our birthdays by going out for a meal with The Man's brother and sister-in-law. We won't be at home on the day of his birthday so we went out to a Chinese restaurant tonight instead.
