Sun Dog

"Sun dogs are a member of a large family of halos, created by light interacting with ice crystals in the atmosphere. Sun dogs typically appear as two subtly colored patches of light to the left and right of the Sun, approximately 22° distant and at the same elevation above the horizon as the Sun. They can be seen anywhere in the world during any season, but they are not always obvious or bright."

I could see one on each side of the sun but couldn't capture both in a photo. :(
Long day- after landing in AZ yesterday, we drove to the cabin last night to remove the brand new dishwasher that leaks. A new one will be available next week.
Today we drove back just in time to greet over 80 children with treats and little toys. My favorite costume was a box that looked like a Lego- the little tyke was very proud of his work.
