That's what the experts say! It's one of those things that look so easy when you watch a pro. Coiling a bandsaw blade -- safety glasses and leather gloves recommended, especially for larger/wider blades and beginners.

This blade has a total length of 115in/2.9m. I was practicing my technique before changing the blade on my saw. It's only .25in/6.5mm wide -- the one currently on the saw is twice as wide.
