Discovering Cork

An early start for the city and a bit of shopping which was actually okay before the crowds arrived! Walked along the banks of the River Lee to the City Museum where much to my shame I've not visited before. Friends had an opening of their exhibition on Prehistoric Rock Art a superb display of some very fine examples in Cork and Kerry, please do see my extra photo.
The weather was warm and sunny and I walked back into town across this footbridge and through Sunday's Well a rather architecturally interesting part of town.
Home to the very theatrical Halloween in Schull, were the whole community dresses up and gets involved, great fun!
