The physic garden, Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan.

We often walk through this garden when we visit Cowbridge. It is set in an enclosed half acre site and was created by the Welsh Historic Gardens Trust in 2004 as part of the 750th anniversary celebrations of the town. It was officially opened in 2008 by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall who is its patron. The garden is full of all sorts of medicinal plants and herbs which would have been traditionally used for cooking, healing and the dying of fabrics. My extra photograph is of the water fountain set at the centre of the garden.
