Laterbird Robins

Yesterday I had a flock of robins feeding on my
weeping apple tree.  They would fly back and
forth between my tree and the neighbor's crab-
apple tree.  Never have I seen that many robins
that far north this late into autumn.  Finally,
I grabbed my camera and went outside, robin
stalking.  They were skittish but finally the
apples became more important than my
presence.  I was charmed by their presence!
