A foggy start

It was quite foggy first thing and the sun didn't start to break through until late morning just as I was getting back from a walk.  JJ glued the gaps in my walking boots and they seem to be holding up ok.  My walking shoes have definitely had it and I need to replace them now, so if my boots can manage with temporary repairs I won't have two major outlays in one go.

The grandchildren are due over soon and JJ isn't back from golf yet.  HELP!

These trees are just up the road and were looking quite good with the sun just breaking through.
