City Library

The new building of the Turku city library, completed in 2007. An impressive building. Extras are a slightly obscene desert and the river Aura at night.

This came at the end of a first, and quite tough, day of peer review. We were treated to dinner by the Faculty of Law in Sergio's. A restaurant where appearance clearly trumped taste. But the walk along the river made it all worthwhile.
