2014 more running needed

With the FA CUP first round proper to look forward to next week, the players might not have put in the performance required to remain top of the league.

What we got was a Halloween Spooktacular...

As well as the five goals with no reply we helped our local radio reporter add to his reports.

Here goes with some of the things he got into his reports (and a few he didn't).

It was as early as the third minute that Fylde scared their opponents, but in the 13th they spooked the defence to take the lead.

The second goal before half time was solo effort as the player carved through the defence like a knife through a pumpkin.

2-0 at half time.

In the second half we saw lots of tricks that made it a treat to watch.

Wicked crosses made for a frightening afternoon for the ghoul keeper.

The third goal was grim for the away defenders as a pile driver of a shot reaped the rewards.

The fourth saw the same player ghosting in at the far post to get on the end of another tricky cross to head home.

The final ghoul came late in the game when a great crossfield pass had the opposition screaming with fear as our player was in more space than a wearwolf in London.

Their nightmare became a reality when he danced into the penalty area like the grim reaper in a cemetery to seal the 5-0 win.

I'm hear all week.
