Yes, well, all intentions of concentrating on the courtyard and catching up with some paperwork evaporated!

Andrea texted to ask whether we fancied going for a walk as it was such a lovely day. So MrM and I hurried down to Alnwick for some essential shopping and then we did, indeed, go for a walk with Andrea, to the top of Humbleton Hill. Again! It was an absolutely glorious afternoon, though windy on the top (as you can tell from the hair direction!) - the warmest November day on record according to the news - and good to be out.

Did manage to plant a few bulbs when we got back and about to make a start of the huge pile of paperwork...
