Ancient Oak

This oak tree in Chateherault Country Park has seen a few autumns, maybe four hundred!

It stands near the Duke of Hamilton's former hunting lodge.

The nearby Cadzow Oaks date back from eight hundred to over one thousand years and were once part of the great forest of Scotland.
