......BOO!!!!!................

Not a pumpkin to be had...............so the Daughter bought a couple of Butternut squash............and voila.

She had a bit of a moan about how hard it was to hollow them out........so I had to play the "old times" card and tell her about how we had to use a turnip when " I were a lad"!.............and we carried them round  on string like proper lanterns...pumpkins......pah!........they don't know they're born.

We had about 25 trick or treaters...........so that's about 10 bags of Haribo left for us.......although I suspect charlie and Hannah will nab most of them.
