A Bridge no more!

With the development of the new "Queensferry Crossing" well under way, last weekend, this and in two weekends time see's a lot of disruption to the main road network leading from the Forth Road Bridge into Edinburgh. 

The reason, the demolition and removal of the old bridge that used to span the A90 and link Queensferry with Kirkliston.

The works were going on thru the Saturday night all of Sunday and thru until 0600hrs of Monday morning, and by then the road will be open again for the morning rush hour to be in full flow.

They managed it last weekend.....and I'm sure that an "all nighter" should see things running smoothly at dawn!!

Only time will tell......
