Shades of Purple

Two sunny days in a row how cool is that, so once again out to the garden to do a bit more weeding and then a photo of my Delphinium. The name comes from the Latin 'delphis' meaning dolphin ....The most ancient use of Delphinium flowers was a strong external concoction thought to drive away scorpions; the plant is poisonous so wash hands after handling.
