All rivers lead to Elsinore....
Fab second day of our break in London. They always say the best way to understand a big city is from the water and it was certainly true as we motored along the Thames. A really different view and lots to take in.
Lots of exploring around Soho, then Covent Garden and then to Trafalgar Square and the Mall, before a gorgeous walk through St James' Park.
Tonight we went to the Barbican to see the closing performance of Hamlet starring Benedict Cumberbatch. It was utterly stunning - yet again. What a breathtaking production - I'm so glad I got to see it live more than once. An incredibly enriching theatrical experience. Definitely the Hamlet of my generation.
