Black and white and read all over

This is one of the memorials in Grey Friars that I came on today. I was really struck by both how elaborate the decoration was, and that it was covered by very fine inscription. Well worth a shufty.

I had the chance to attend a training course in Edinburgh today, on blogging, of all things... and it was superb.

Rounded off today by helping chaperone the P7 leavers' disco at Shortie's school. Another year group up to the academy, and all the best to them.
