Early November Sunset
My sense of timing was a bit off today due to setting the clocks back an hour during the night (at least I will blame it on that), ha ha. As a result of this, I ended up leaving for my evening walk a little later than I had planned.
I normally try to plan my walk so that I am returning to the house just at sunset. If I do it right, when I take King for his car ride the sunset colors are evolving simultaneously.
This evening's sunset caught up to us during our walk, but that actually worked out wonderfully because I was able to enjoy the spectacular light show as it evolved throughout the entire stroll.
Tonight's show featured the color pink. Beginning with a light pink glow, the color steadily deepened into a rosy magenta and then reversed itself, lightening once again until it faded into a dusky pink...the very same pink that lines the interior of a conch shell.
Another beautiful Penns Valley sunset that blessed me with it's magnificence. Have I mentioned how much I adore sunsets?
“If I can put one touch of rosy sunset into the life of any man or woman, I shall feel that I have worked with God.”
