on Multnomah Channel. We had to go to "The Island", as the locals call Sauvie Island, for an errand today. The weather was just about to turn nasty, so we didn't linger  long. This shot is from the bridge on the way out, the pretty colored trees got our attention. The extra is of some Sandhill Cranes in flight; they winter on the island.
