Beachcasting
11.0C starting foggy, clearing late morning, then cloudy later. Zephyr.
Some family history research this morning. I am curious about a family and will do some more work on finding another generation or two forward in time from the point I started my recent research.
Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (Amazing Things and Mara). We went down the road to the shore, then went over the road bridge over the railway to the beach at Westhaven. Valhalla A was moored in the channel between the rocks. The tide was coming in.
We came up off the beach and walked along the path that used to be the old boardwalk towards Carnoustie, then joined the seafront walkway and wandered along to the golf courses. Near the end of the beach by the golf courses I saw these two fishermen beachcasting. The water was gathering round their feet. Definitely time to bring in their lines and retreat.
We turned up by the golf hotel then came up to the High Street and came back along to join our usual route up the main road and back along to home.
