web in the woods

I had a bright idea this morning. Drive to Bowness (via the petrol station and recycling site), park on the Glebe (the 2 hour restrictions don’t apply again until Easter), walk to the ferry (10 minutes), cross the lake (50p each way), walk in the woods and along the lakeshore, and last but not least have a coffee and cake at the recently opened Claife Viewing Station (NT). 

It worked very well, though the cafe visit was sooner rather than later. Lots of photos but I’ve chosen the web as I don't think I've blipped one before.
